About Comblo

Wooden pieces for building, testing and improving constructions.

Comblo grows from experience with wood, education and hands-on building. It is a system of beechwood elements for making models, vehicles and simple mechanisms.

Origin

A calm brand development: with Dusyma, through Pilch Innowacje.

The starting point is cooperation with Dusyma and Pilch Innowacje’s experience with wood and educational products. Comblo is not built around a fast-growth story. The material, repeatable quality and whether a construction actually works matter more.

Experience with wood

The material is treated practically: pleasant to touch, durable and ready for many returns to building.

Learning by building

A child connects pieces, tests stability, adjusts the layout and sees what changes in the construction.

Material and construction

Beechwood, simple connections and physical testing of an idea.

Comblo stays close to material experience. The pieces have weight, texture and resistance; a model has to be assembled, moved, sometimes strengthened or rebuilt.

  • beechwood with a calm, natural surface
  • connecting pieces into models, mechanisms and vehicles
  • testing stability instead of only looking at the finished result
Wooden elements from the Comblo Basic set
The sets are made for hand work: arranging, connecting, checking proportions and returning to the build after a while.

How Comblo is made

From pieces to tested models.

Work on Comblo starts with the shape of the piece and the way pieces connect. Models, descriptions and ideas come after that, as support for using the set.

Element design

Shapes and proportions are chosen so stable, readable models can be built.

Production and material

Beechwood gives durability and a calm product character without adding artificial narrative.

Models and trials

Constructions are assembled, moved and adjusted to check whether the idea works in the hands.

Instructions and growth

Ideas, PDFs and QR markers can lead from a set to more models, while staying secondary to physical building.

Ideas

Sets lead to models, not to another online world.

Ideas are there to help begin building: a windmill, vehicle, animal or a simple moving construction. PDFs and QR codes may come over time, but the set on the table remains the centre.
